Salt Lake Souvenir & Gift is a family owned and operated local business in the heart of downtown. We have a rich family history in retail, and are currently in our third generation of owning retail gift stores. Martin Dalebout opened the first store in 1970. His store was known for its awesome window displays, great variety of product, and fabulous customer service. His son Jerry grew up in the business and, along with his wife Colette, opened their own store in 1994. The store was downtown in the former Crossroads Mall – very close to where Salt Lake Souvenir & Gift is currently located. Jerry was among the very first to notice the needs of tourists in Salt Lake City and emphasized providing a great selection of souvenirs for visitors to take home to their families. In 2016, their daughter Amber (who also grew up in the business) began to take the reigns and has brought the businesses to new heights.

We are so excited to have our second location on Capitol Hill and work with our great state to run the Utah Visitor Center gift shop for Salt Lake City. Our family is committed to serving visitors any way we can. We are avid outdoorsman who enjoy sharing and giving suggestions about our incredible state! We are so happy to still be carrying on Martin’s legacy all these years later, ever expanding & constantly striving for excellence.
